About Us

Anonymous Morris are a mixed sex Border Morris side based in Poole, with an aim to promote morris among young adults (read: downwards of 30). This does not mean we are exclusive to this age range; we accept most dancers and musicians of any age as long as they can keep with our dance style. We also don't discriminate based on sex, ethnic group, sexual orientation or religious beliefs. When we say this, we mean it.

We practice at 7:30 on Thursday evenings during the Autumn and Winter months at, as of 2021, St John's Heatherlands, 378A Ashley Road, Poole, BH14 9DQ.

All potential new members get the first week free - so you can come and see if we’re for you without any need to commit instantly. Currently subs are £2.00 per session. There’s a discount if you pay a full season’s subs in advance.

During the summer months we dance at local pubs or on Poole Quay on Thursday evenings, and often at various event on weekends, including folk festivals.
